So I had an easy day waiting for this courts martial to actually need me and I decided to investigate the sqweeking and chatter coming from the rear of the truck. It has eibach 3 inch drop leaf springs and 2 inch drop shackles. The problem has been getting worse over the last 2 months. The main issues wasn't drivability but the sound of a 1970's truck coming from my 08. I went to the auto hobby shop and rented a stall with a frame lift and got to work. Took the entire rear suspension off a corner at a time and cleaned and greased the bolts. Found my upper drivers side shock mounting bolt was a little loose. I think that was the rattle. We'll an hour and a half later, I was done and had 0 issues afterwards. I am soo glad I took the time to do this, just angry that is didn't grease then when I installed it in the first place. Plus I washed her up nice a good like!!!
