I should add that the wash I gave it yesterday didn't last very long. You can't even tell it was washed :(.

Took it to autozone and got a smoked license plate cover with black frame and windshield crack repair kit for a tiny catch starting to form. Used my free 20 bucks on them :wookie:

Not trying to get in your business... but a license plate cover will get you ticketed in Texas. Just putting that out there.

Well we might just see. Idk if I'll put it on front or back first cuz I don't run the front plate in cs just in and on the way to houston. And if hope for just a warning the first time :fingersx:

Texas has gotten tough on that stuff. If you go anywhere near a toll road, the cops will really zoom in on it. Otherwise, it'll just take a bored cop that wants to give somebody a bad day.

I ran without front plates for a long time...

Texas didn't enforce the front plate rule for many years... then came toll roads. They take pics of your front plate to identify your car if you do not have a TXtag and bill you for gate crashes on the tollway via good old US Mail.

And a few other states as well.

The good/bad news is that in most states you can't be pulled over for it, but it can be "tacked on" to any other violation you might be pulled over for.

That's good news because it means you can usually get away with it for a long time, provided you don't do something else to get pulled over for.

It's bad news because it then gives the nice LEO incentive to watch you closer, looking for something you can get pulled over for, and any fine you get is going to also include one for the plate cover.
