Took the wheels off so this is how it sits, waiting and waiting for dry road conditions to drive 5 blocks to the fire dept. so i can pressure wash the preds and nittos. then back to this spot for months and months.

They don't look all that bad. But what's the point when you don't drive it in the winter? Must be nice having it in a super clean garage AND heated! :(

I just got done cleaning my grandma's garage (2.5hrs) so I'll be able to park my truck in their garage for the winter. I now have 4 trash bags full of crap in the back of the S10 (she has to pay $3 per bag to throw stuff out; ours is free).

Now I just need to figure out when I'm parking the Silverado. :crybaby:

Because we wash the other cars in the garage, so i would hate for the salted water to spash on one of the wheels. I really like the thought the truck wont see salt this winter

You doing anything to yours to "winterize" it?

I put my factory '98 rims back on and they will be staying on for good. No more "summer" tires (I need to use the rubber on the rims and it will take me at least 5yrs to wear them out; want to use them before they rot). I also bought a cheap cover at Menards on sale for $30. It's not fancy at all, but it will keep the dust off and avoid getting scratches from people walking by it. I'm gonna run Sta-Bil through it and keep it mixed in the tank.

I'm debating whether or not to park it with a full tank or not AND if I should "fog" the engine (we always fog our boat before storing it). Anyone have any thoughts on these?

I'm thinking I'll start a thread on "Winterization" for us Northern-ers. I have questions about it anyways.
