Tinted the front windows to match the rears. Looks good, but it was dark when I got home, so no pics. Also got some estimates on painting the front bumper cap. Looks like it will be around $125 if I take it off and bring it to them. Once I sell some more crap off the Frontier, that will probably be the next thing I get done.

Filled up with fuel for the first time yesterday, 18.2 mpg for the first 400 miles. I am pretty pleased with that, and hope it bumps a bit as the engine breaks in. If not, I can live with that.

18 is pretty darn good!
Mine, in both trucks, has been taking a crap really fast lately. The S10, which was getting 21/22 got 19; and the Silverado got 15 down from upper 16's. I'm hoping this is due to switching over to a winter blend, but its still really early for that.
This tank won't be good for the Silvy anyways because I towed 6k 20 miles and then 2k back 20mi. Tomorrow is judgement day :ohnoes: :uhoh:. At least gas went down today!

Found out I need a longer belt for the Silverado today.

Changed the oil in the '11 and greased the 2 or 3 zerks that the poor thing has.:ohnoes:

Jacked up the '06 to pull the front diff and noticed the left front wheel hub had some slop in it. Went down to NAPA and picked up two hubs. Replaced the left side one, I'll do the right side next weekend.

Fought the front diff out from under the damn thing and then threw all my tools in the garage and went out for my daughters birthday party.

Oh yeah, pulled the plugs on the '06 for a check. Had new ones on hand but these looked great so I put them back in and stuck the new ones in the tool box. Probably swap them when the cam gets installed.

Changed the fuell filter. A 10 min job took 1 hour because ford has the great idea of making the flex fuel filter 5/16 in/out and the non flex fuel ( of which I have) a 3/8 in/out. I bought the wrong one the first time. We will see how it helps on the trip home from the wifes house.

Loaded it up and hauled some materials over to my Mom's for a little project I have been working on for her before winter hits:

You can see the front windows tinted to match pretty well in this one

Looks like a nice project you have going there Wayne!

Washed the Silverado and put a fresh coat of NuFinish on it. Damn did it shine ! Man do I wish I could put it in a garage at night :(. Also filled up. $61 for 21.5gal ($2.87/gal for 91 in Minnesota; compared to $2.99/gal in Wisconsin) and came to 13.8mpg (this is due to towing 6k lbs 20 miles @ 45, 2k lbs 20 miles @ 55, and my dad's boat 4k 15 miles @ 25 with idling and backing up; so ya, I'm hoping this MPG is all due to towing :fingersx:).
