Backed it down the driveway so we could fire up the grill for some dinner.
drove it to town twice, second time i tried with the trans in "M" and found out that there is a shift light that comes on in the dash.

Filled up. $44 at 17.3mpg (pretty decent).

Bought a cluster with a tach from a '97 Blazer on eBay for $34 last night (just have to figure out how to change the mileage on it once I get it; gotta go back about 10k). Spent 45 minutes vacuuming out today (still have more to do). The door plunger (thing that turns lights on/off) was broken on the driver's side (go figure) so I replaced it ($10 part at AutoZone). Tomorrow I'll finish vacuuming and then wash all the interior plastic so I can get some ArmorAll on it (want to protect it with it sitting outside all closed up, but with reflective stuff in all the windows). Gonna pick up one of those 3M headlight restoration kits this weekend and give it a shot on my tail lights (headlights are sealed-beam).
Drove it to work.
