"That motor runs gooder than hell !"
drove it a bit yesterday, and probably doing the same today
That's a great first car. I bet he's stoked!Drove it to Carmax, and bought the son, his 1st car!
A 2000 Celica GT, 5spd!![]()
Yeah he's a happy fellar right now! Hopefully it'll kick in his suppressed car genes!
Now I have to teach him to drive a 5spd!![]()

I took my new GMC All-Terrain wheels that just came yesterday and brought them over and made sure they were true. And also made him move the wheel weights to the inside of the wheel, so the finish doesn't go away in a few years where the wheel weight is.

When Alan turned 16 I gave him a Nissan Pickup with a 5 speed. A few trips to the local High School parking lot and he was driving it like a pro. I think it helped make him the good driver he is today. Manual transmissions make you "feel" the car more because you have to pay attention to it.
I don't jack about Celicas, I never fit in any gen except this one, so I wasn't interested in them. I didn't realize how quick they were, for what they are!

That's exactly the reason I wanted him to have a manual. We think alike
This little Celica will scoot.
Maybe something slower would've been a better choice!![]()
