I hope mine isn't mad at me for those GMT-800 16's that are on it...

Nah,she'll still love you....just keep her fed

Well, she IS getting a brand new pair of Michelin M/S2's...
And a pair of Firestone Destination M/T's

Damn those 16s look good on there...

Too bad I can't mount them up front :(

Pics are coming... It just takes awhile until the compy gets fixed...

The Destination M/T's are for deep snow this winter, and the occasional weekend outing until it gets lowered

Um....Hey Capt. Obvious, those aren't even CLOSE to GMT800 wheels. Those are early GMT400 wheels. And miss-match wheels  At least they are a similar design. :) Those Destination M/T's sure do look nice though!

Filled up the truck, but the pump clearly shut off before full (my gauge isn't all the way up like it should be) so my mileage calculation is way off (somehow got 19mpg with mixed driving; I've only hit 20mpg once with all highway driving). Hauled some wood from a couple tree trunks from my grandma's to my uncle's. Only filled the bed up to the top of the bed rail. It was all neatly placed in there. :D Then swept out the bed.

Pulled the headliner out of the ZR2 finally. Unfortunately, the roof support brace that runs between the B-pillars is NOT the same as the one in the Blazer. Now I have no idea how I'm going to support the back of the overhead console. I'm thinking of gluing a piece of wood to the roof to run screws into. I can't find much info on the web about it. Some guys are just putting a piece of wood up there and relying on the headliner to support the weight. I don't like that idea. Oh, also sprayed the 6 exhaust bolts that I could see with PB Blaster in preparation for whenever the heck I have time to take it all out. I'll probably snap every single bolt there is. :( The only ones I care about are the ones going to the headers.

I really want to get back to working on it, but I've been so busy with work that there just hasn't been time. I've got about 2 months to go before the snow comes and I've got A LOT of work to get done.

Hey Captain Obvious #2, those aren't the wheels I was talking about :p
I had some GMT-800 wheels borrowed from James so I could drop the tires off and NOT have to stick around and wait for them :D

And I'd have matching wheels, but I can't put them up front :pfingers:

I did change the oil and filter yesterday. I also put in a new air filter. The old one wasn't bad, but changed it any way.

I may have to replace the battery, it cranked kinda slow this morning. I think it's time , I have had the truck for 8 or 9 years and it's the battery that was in it when I bought it.

Since most batteries only last 5 years or so....I think it is time to change it.
You're running on borrowed time...

It's a duralast, gonna get another if it lasted that long. I'll let Autozone change it out also so I don't have to get my hands dirty.
