What did you do to your truck today?

Swapped turn signal assemblys from the '00 chev to my GMC. Mud truck needs wipers but not turn signals. For the first time in almost a year I have turn signals!
You have to tear the dash down a long way to do the swap.

And because custom touches are cool even on a mud truck I did up a lil suprise for Jaci ( now everybody KNOWS who's truck it is)

Looked at it and realized it is filthy.

Had to take my low-beam HID's out and put regular halogen bulbs back in. Last night driving home, the bulb on the side that has been giving me problems flickered a few times and then shut off. This morning I tested the bulb on the other good ballast and the bulb is fine. The ballast is the problem. Anyways, I'm not looking forward to driving it at night any time soon.

The truck is sitting today. I'm taking the motorcycle to work.

I use to have projectors with HID's on the Toyota, and had a problem with one headlight that came on intermittenly....contacted the company I got the kit from to order another ballist. They suggested I switch ballasts, move the left to the right and right to the left. It worked, never had that problem again
I'm not sure why it worked but it did
