I checked my last oil change date because its been a while. Or at least I thought it was. I last changed it in December, and I have just barely put 1,600 miles on my truck since December. And I've been to New Orleans in it twice since then, went down for Christmas and went there again in April. Almost 700 mles there and back. So it looks like 90% of the my miles are from road trips. And that's about right, we drive the Altima around town then break out the Burban to cruise the highway. I know the Altima saves so much gas, but I just can't sacrifice the extra room and comfort of my big ass Suburban when traveling.

But yeah . . . I'm surprised at the average too

I'm already over 18k on mine and it's still 3 weeks shy of being a year old!

I wasn't trying to say I put a ton of miles on mine. I don't use it for work or anything. Except for two trips to Colorado, it has mostly been my commuter. But, seeing how low Nick's average mileage was, I couldn't help but comment.

Replaced the knock sensors and the wiring harness, replaced the air filter, replaced the cabin air filter, replaced my DRL bulbs, replaced a rear window regulator assembly, replaced the fuel filter, replaced my old yellowing headlight with new TYC headlights, and I FINALLY installed my chrome interior door handles and having them for several years now. Yes, its been a VERY busy weekend!
Oh, and if you have never tried this, try putting a fabric softener dryer sheet around the cabin filter before sliding it in. The air smell like fresh clean laundry as it blows out the AC vents! I saw that somewhere online and figured I'd try it while I was replacing the filter. No clue how long it will last though.

I've had mine for just over a year and have 22k on it...but I didn't really drive it for almost 6 months while it was in the body shop and I was driving the commuter car mainly. I have had the commuter about 10 months and have put 27k on it.

Got the oil changed, both fuel filters and water separator as well. Air filter is getting done either today or tomorrow.

Got the oil changed in the driveway queen. Trans fluid still looks good so will wait a while longer before i need to change the fluid/filter for that service...
