Fixed my rattling exhaust. Ended up being the flange bolts where the down pipe hits the test pipe. The gasket crushed when I hit the rock, (it was half gone anyway) and that let's the joint close and the bolts loosen slowly and hence, the rattle.

Rock?

I thought you only took it to the dragstrip :dunno::D

Got my truck back from the transmission shop with the leak all fixed. They didn't charge me a dime.

VERY GOOD... glad to hear it...

I'm very satisfied with this shop and I would highly recommend them. Stonewall Transmission, they are hwy 171 about 15 minutes south of Shreveport. The reason I chose them over other shops (that were actually a bit cheaper) is because they have outstanding ratings with the BBB. And they have positive ratings and reviews on Google. One of the reviews I read was written by a guy I know. When I saw his name I called him and asked him how his transmission was holding up. He had nothing but good things to say, so that's what sealed the deal on me going with Stonewall Transmission.

Glad they fixed you up. So, was it just a bad gasket? :dunno:

Yep, just the gasket. Or else they did a poor job installing it. :dunno:
Regardless, he thanked me for catching it so soon. He said it could have been bad had all the fluid drained out and I kept driving it. Luckily I noticed it in time, and all that needed to be replaced was the gasket. But I also plan on draining it in few more months anyway so I can put my Amsoil severe gear diff fluid in it.

No worse, Instead of a rock at target I hit one of the rocks lining my driveway.

Gary anytime you're ready to come up here I know tons of places to go bring that Burb will work it out.
