it is alone not a huge improvement. but it flows more CFM at lower boost so it has more potential, it falls on its face less than stock and supports 175 more HP with injectors. plus, it is advanced compared to my stock turbo..


oh and lower EGT's

I've been wondering about the turbo in my truck for some time now. The big thing is, since I can't (physically) hear the "whine", how do I know for sure the darn thing is working? Truck has plenty of power, and scoots pretty good for something that weighs 5 tons, but without a boost gauge, and without the turbo making loud grinding noises, I'm not sure I could tell if it was going or not. :dunno:

Manifold pressure gauge.

You would know it if she wasn't spooling, or if you had a serious CAC leak, etc.

We still have (2) 6.5s left at my facility, and at one time had over 50 in our company.

I just put the 4th fuel pump on our '99 Flatbed since we bought it new. It has 82K on it.
