Tried to cheap out and tint the windows on my untruck myself..........FAILED!

... I almost tried to do it on the Caddy when I bought it...
Changed my mind and "HAD" it done.. glad now I did it that way...

Drove it to Elizabeth Town to take Conner to the PYC camp. Got 19.9 mpg down and back. Held it at 55mph on the back two lane road and 100 mile round trip.

figured out that the high pressure oil pump is quickly fading. it was the only thing i didn't replace in May.. I am regretting not finding the 600$ for it back then...

it causes a VERY hard start condition when the engine is hot.


but I did run a 14.02 in the 1/4 last night.. so it isn't all bad news.

They screw on over top of the lug nuts. The steel lugs have outside threads, where the plastic ones have inside threads. The old ones are all stripped out.

Yeah,thought so.IIRC GM started that cap style in '88.Where I retired from had three of them and they'd lose those caps all the time.I still see those little lug caps in parking lots
