Everything happens for a reason Ivan, you will end getting something else eventually. But you will probably never forget this truck. That's life.

Yeah. My gf was asking me if I was sure. She said we could refinance the little amount left so I would not feel as bad about the payment on it or even just flat out paying it off. I know the money is better put to use elsewhere(i.e. backyard).

I really thought about it but it just sits in the drive way and would probably continue to sit on the drive because I don't really use it. I mean the only real use for a truck for me before was to transport my dirtbike to riding spots near my parents home but at my new house we have a bunch of undeveloped land around my neighborhood so I just have to open my garage ride out and close it behind me and get lost for a few hours.

I just can't justify it. If it was a crewcab or even extended cab it wouldn't go anywhere but being a regular cab I just couldn't find an excuse other than emotional attachment.

But yes Jarrod you are right that's life...simply put.

I know how you feel man I had a truck that I had and drove daily for about five or six years and I sold it. Now looking back I miss certain things about the truck like it was a person its kind of fucked up lol.

Yes what you are feeling is normal. I am very attached to mine as well, had it a long time it has been from sea to sea and all in between

I will hate the day when it is done

When I sold my black F-150 a little over a year ago, I had the same feelings. To be honest, I miss the hell out of that truck still today. I like my Dodge, but I really liked my Ford. I saw it recently, it was all beat to hell, made me want to cry. Asshole that bought it is not taking care of it like I did. Guess that is life though.

I still get a little excited each time I see a truck that I believe has a chance to be my old '91.
