so its gona match the shocks? id say it would look good. you gona go cali bro on us and polish all your suspension parts and get some 22x14 wheels with 2 inch lower block in the rear for cali lean?

I'm gonna go higher, 15inch lift and run 22's with 33's.

Trust me, you don't want to know what I went through today with this skidplate, I'm on my third one now, 3/16" hot rolled steel plate, the aluminum ones were garbage. This steel plate powdercoated like complete ass, need to spend a few hours trying to wet sand the clear.

33's?

Oh, and this...

I was messing around with Geoff Tobias, no, I'm not going any higher, or running 22's or going with 33's lol The guys over in Cali do that.

All I got from yesterday after the show

The plate looks cool, but it's not the final one. I wanted soemthing that looked like polished aluminum. Because I was forced to use hot rolled steel plate )instead of cold rolled), it had millscale all over it and the pcoater couldn't get it all off well enough. So the chrome powder ended up looking more like silver. Actually the first coats looked better, we had to sand it down due to imperfections in the powder. Clearing it also took away some of the reflective properties. I may have to go with either s/s, or aircraft grade 1/4" aluminum which looks way better when pcoated.

It def needs moar shine (reflection).

I don;t think anyone at the show yesterday even noticed it lol.

Been going to this all truck (mostly lifted) truck show for 4 years now and never placed due to the amount of trucks in my class (fullsize chevy 4wd), this year there were 20 entries. To my surprise, my name was called and I came away with a 2nd place trophy. Some of the winners first place winners, and a few 2nd place winners in some of the classes received money too, I was one of them (albiet was only a check for only $15, the cost of registering for the show :D)

I really can't complain since trucks are judged by exterior, interior (mine is stock) and engine compartment (my hood was closed), so I assume I got zeros for 2 out of the 3 categories and still managed to pull out 2nd place. :)

I never won $ in any shows, even when I would take first in the Domestic Wild class for 4-5 years straight with the Saturn, so it was pretty cool.
