I thought the same thing when I tried to get into an LBZ Alljackedup! Jeeze they're pricey. I think it's because 90% get bought for kids with bad judgement to cruise around campus in and wreck.

Yep. I honestly think I'd immediately invest in a headlight swap. Should be easy and cheap enough. Surely, someone with a mid-level truck would want to trade.

Man, that's taking debadging to a

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
The interior is the part I like the least in the new Ram. Too busy and harsh plastic for me. I love the exterior styling of the Ram...

I agree that the GM interiors are not all that great either. They didn't put much effort in the design in my truck.

But they have sitches and touchscreens and LED DRL's in the next one. Hells yes.
I can only hope you are kidding. God I hate LED DRLs. Probably the silliest trend in vehicle styling since the horrid 1980s. I bet we look back and laugh at their dated look in a few years.

LED's in and of themselves aren't bad. It's just those damn low temp blue ones that look like shit. :fume:

I love my Silverado, but I'll admit the interior was something I had to get over the first time I sat in one. And I don't even have the plasti-wood fascade. :puke:

Here's what the sport interior looks like if you haven't looked at one this is with the heated/cooled leather option

I thought I'd at least post a bit of an update to where my status is. I've looked a lot harder at the Ram pickups and found an 8-speed finally but its a bit out of my price range. I don't care much for the "Express" trucks which are my price range so I started looking back to GM trucks.

I sat in and drove a new 2014 Sierra. Pretty nice improvements on the interior but drivability is nearly identical to the 2013s (no fault there - both drive nicely). That leads me to that I also took a look and drove a 2013 Sierra when I was there. It isn't overly exciting but I do like them and while the interior is dated, I can live with it. They're offering some great deals on the 2013s right now and I wait to see what GM unveils tomorrow for July rebates. The 2014s are nice but for the extra thousands, not sure it's worth it. :dunno: I've also been considering a Wrangler Unlimited a bit harder and have even thought about holding out to see the new Cherokee Trailhawk with my own eyes hoping it isn't as ugly as pictures seem. I'm hoping to come to a conclusion within a month or so.

Well, final update. On the fourth of July, I traded the Mustang in on a new 2013 Sierra. Crew cab Z71 with the power tech package and power rear window. The money was crazy between the rebates, EVA money, and a GM discount, I chopped 11.5k off the MSRP. Hard to argue numbers like that. Nothing out of the ordinary and something that many of you have had for years but I like it. :D
