I dunno how i missed that fact, its a dam god idea.

I believe 2007 was the first year for the V8's to have it. From what I have read into it, the cost to add the VVT to the V8's was more then they thought, which is why it took them longer to add it when compared to the I4 and V6 engines.

Yup, the new 6.0 GenIV's in the 2500's and 3500's has VVT. Is uses a variable adjust wheel on the cam gear. Pretty cool stuff.

The Gen IV's in the 1500 trucks also has VVT along with AFM. The 6.2 have VVT also and the 2010 5.3's will include VVT

My mistake, you are correct. I thought he was asking about 6.0 engines using only VVT. Of which only the 2500 and 3500 series trucks do. :cheers:
