That sucks Louis!

Hopefully things will go easy and you can get it all taken care of with little issues.

I apologize for my tone last night.

It's not really hard to do its just A LOT of shit to take off and put back on. Then there is a chance of it leaking again. I'm not going to take it to a shop or nothing I just gotta figure out what I need.

Also I found the source of the high silicon so I guess that's a plus.

OK, On some of the Acadia's from the Acadia forum have oil build up in the intake tube. Thankfully we never had it that bad.

The new valve cover comes with a PCV it it already so when I do all this it will be new. Then I'll clean the air intake the best I can.

Have to drain the fing oil out should I just replace it or reuse it? Only has about 8 or 9 k on it.

It sucks to have to do it but since you will be opening it up like that, I would run it for a day or so and then change it out. That way you can anything that might have gotten into the oil with the oil oil and filter and start fresh.

Well I had my dad come over and take a look at it.

He said it looks like the majority of the oil was coming from the valve cover and a cover plate on the timing cover. Plan now is to install the new valve cover and repair the plate gasket. Then proceed with my coolent flush. Clean everything really good and check to see if my timing cover is infact leaking as bad as I thought it was.

As far as the oil I prob run it a few days and change it using off the shelf oil, run that for 5k or so then go back with the Amsoil. That way if I do have a leak I won't be out $75 for oil.
