Will these lighter weight trucks save gas and reduce shipping/handling costs for everyone?
It probably won't save us anything, but it will save the company money which means more profit.

Well there shipping rates are raping me. I'm a dealer with 3 different lawnmower parts distributers and one charges $30 per order, another charges $20 per order and last one charges $7.99 per order but they are limited on what parts they have compared to the first 2.

Your talking about 5-10 pound boxes and boxes are medium size.

AMSOIL actually gives an awesome rate if you think about it. But then they do a major chunk of business with UPS throughout the country.

Do any of the USPS flat rate boxes work?

No, biggest usps flat rate is too small for the stuff I ordered from RbI or Dixie. Parts like carb kits, spool starter rope, mower blade, air filters, primer bulbs, blade cables, etc. I do ammit that some the boxes that were used were bigger than needed. They only ship by ups.
