Dude here lately even in the South it stays like that till 11 here.
Once you start driving it does not last long...
No offense the best truck you ever owned was the 2500hd...

No offenses taken. It wa4 alright, but the super poor economic mileage and the power steering and piston issues were uncalled for. If I could have afforded it I would have kept it after warranty.

Well it was probably a good thing you got rid of it... Sounds like it was an abused truck... My 05 is great and the company that I used to work for has had several of these trucks without the issues that you mentioned. Seems to be very rare.
My neighbor is a Ford guy and he as a 03 with 265k miles on it.. He said it's the best truck he has ever bought... His Dodge hasn't been too bad.
