I've seen some info about Load Resisters, are they still required?

Load Resistor Kits

One Load Resistor is required for each bulb
LED bulbs may cause some vehicles to indicate a bulb is burnt out (because of their low power consumption). Some cars indicate this by turning on a bad bulb indicator. This can be remedied with load resistors wired across the LED bulbs to simulate a filament bulb load.

Again, it depends on which LED bulbs you use. Some already have the resistors, and some setups don't need them.

Well, my LEDs for the truck are on their way. I hope I get them by next Thursday so I can install them Friday morning. I'll post back with what happens. And yes, there will be pics. Lots of pics.

I'll make sure to post as many pics as possible. I'll just post links to them so it doesn't take up so much room. I'll also have the model numbers compared to the factory numbers and where I got them from.

Keeping my fingers crossed :fingersx:.

Quick update on LEDs: they're coming from Atlanta, GA via USPS. I have no idea how long that will take to make it to Wisconsin.

Where did you get them and how much? If you don't mind the question.

I'll let you guys know exactly what the company was once I get them. I'll let you know if they are good or bad, but I just want to make sure first.

I think the website was hidlightsusa.com, but I don't know who exactly made the bulbs.

Give me until next week. I just want to make sure that I ordered the right part numbers.

I got my package today.

2 Problems
1) the 2 packs of 2 bulbs 1157 amber appear to be red
2) one of the 3057 red bulbs has burn marks around one of the wires

I haven't had time to try any of the 3056 (reverse) or the 3057 (tail light) bulbs yet.
I might not get to until late Thursday night or Friday morning.

I emailed the retailer tonight and I'll see what they say tomorrow.

I'll keep you guys up do date.

I already have hyper signals with only 1 bulb in. Looks like I'll be ordering an EP29 from AutoLumination. $18.99 shipped.

PS - how do you change your title?

Well, I finally got a reply for what to do about the problems.

They want me to send back all the 1157 (quote) amber (unquote) so that's 4 bulbs total along with 1 pack of 3057 red of which 1 of the bulbs is the defective one. (for reference, all the packs I ordered had 2 bulbs in each).

So it will probably be another 8-12 days before I can possibly get this all figured out. I just wanted to have them all by the time my Black Bear meet comes around.

Send 'em back in a Priority Mail small flat rate box. It'll get there faster and won't cost much.
