Any firearms stored in my truck go inside locked cases, and those go inside one of the double locked boxes on the truck. Yeah, if someone really wanted to get at 'em, and had time to open all six compartments on the truck (and the tools to do it with) they could get to 'em, but I think it's as reasonable a precaution as I could take until I get the storage box inside the truck setup the way I want it. (Welded in, heavy steel plate, double locked)

Dude I like that one a lot, good price too. What is the best way to bolt those down? Just long Self Tappers? I just gotta make sure I don't hit any wires obviously.

Actually, that is where I keep mine... I don't really know where else to put it. So I keep it in the holster and put it in the door panel.

I carried one around under my seat for years. I no longer do that since I am not allowed to have a firearm on my work premises, so now if I carry one, it is on my person.

Yeah I hear ya, It's illegal to store a gun under the seat in SC, unless it's in a lockable storage container

I have heard that it is here as well unless you have a concealed carry permit (I do). Same for the console, glove box, or anywhere else not in open sight. I have not been able to find where it says that clearly in the law though.

Where is a good place to read to find the laws for various states? Or where is the common place each state would put this stuff to read about it?
