Truck Bed Bolts?

I agree that would be a good environment

BUT

I've never had any issue and I've had drop in liners since the early 90s in all of my trucks. Not much water ever gets under there and the design allows plenty of space for air flow.

Some liners are worse than others when it comes to the fit. The really cheap ones may warp and let in moisture, or crack, or get holes (corners especially) and then it just traps it in there.

Climate plays a big part too. The amount of rain you get, and what he gets, is probably very different.

Give Grainger a try. They carry stainless hardware.

I was just in there today  I'll see what they have next time I go by there

ALL true my drop in liner I told the dealership to keep and I got a spray in within the month of buying it. The liner that was in there was a POS

Not to mention we get a lot of salt in the air from being on the coast

Some places will take them out and spray. Then stick them back in, it's a bitch digging that coating out of the head of the bolts.

Anyone know the size on those bolts? I have a bucket of stainless hardware out in the shed I'd be willing to look through.

I wanted him too but he said that he usually doesn't because they would be a bitch to get out if I had to later. I honestly would have rather had him spray em'

I found a part number but never found any specs. Those are special bolts designed by Ford to be able to withstand lifting the entire truck up by the bed. If you replace them with something off spec and your bed falls off going down the highway somebody could sue you.:jester:
