Definitely. I'm looking forward to being able to sell it in pristine condition.

As an update, I'm going through a checklist of everything I need as opposed to what I want to do another detail. I've narrowed it down considerably and don't think I'll be making a purchase just yet.

For example, I'm wanting to try out their new Super VRT, which is water repellent. Last night, though, I found a bottle of their regular VRT in my detailing bag. It is 3/4 full, so right now there's no reason to spend $25 on something I just want to try.

Soon enough, though.

Another update:

Went through my checklist and all I absolutely need is a few applicator pads and a buttload of microfiber towels.

It's about time I did the smart thing and saved some money.

Made two purchases today. One from Adam's picking up a few things I wanted to have in my current arsenal. Trying to use up what I have left. Re-stocking from scratch would cost well over $500. I'll wait until I land a full-time job for that.

Here's what I picked up to go with what I have:

Adam's Glass Sealant
Adam's In & Out Spray
Adam's Blue Waffle Drying Towel
4 x Adam's Single Soft Microfiber Towel
Adam's Americana Premium Carnuba Paste Wax :D

Everything else I have will be used up before purchasing more. Detail spray, clay bar, etc, etc. A few core things to be used in the detail are Adam's (SHR, FMP, VRT).

The other item I purchased is the JUMBO Vac N' Blo by MetroVac. It's listed on Adam's site, and with the TMC discount would be slightly cheaper (by $10 or so) than buying on Amazon. I went through Amazon, though, because I have free 2-day shipping and $3.99 1-day shipping on any items. Not to mention Amazon's excellent return policy. $250 is a lot of dime to drop on hopes that a vacuum will perform as expected. It's coming in tomorrow. Let's see if this baby can tackle Tia hair.

Thanks guys! I'm hoping I've found the holy grail of car vacuums. If this doesn't get out dog hair then I'm doomed.

I wasn't going to get this one originally, but I've bought 3 different hand vacuums for the truck. The last one I have works fairly well, but it's way too big to fit in the small areas. So, rather than buying the Vac N' Blo 500 for $75 and later going "dang I should have went with the big one from the start"........I just went for the big one.

Your Amazon.com order has shipped (#104-5774705-6792267)

I'm considering mounting it in the bed since I have the BedRug back there, but I'll see how big it is once I get it. Not to mention it's made of steel, so I don't want it rusting over time. It would be nice to just pull the 24ft hose through the back window and not have to drag it out to the truck every time I want to vacuum it out.

MetroVac JUMBO Vac N' Blo Update

This thing came in today and impressed me immediately. Unfortunately it didn't work any better on the pet hair than my $30 Wal-Mart vacuum. It's already back at the UPS store ready to be shipped for a refund. While it's pretty powerful, it's not good on my particular combo of pet hair/carpet. Good unit, but not worth the price for me since it doesn't do what I wanted it to.

If you are looking for a killer vac that can be used both in the car and around the house, look no further. It comes with casters on for easy rolling around, a free mounting kit in case you want to hang it up in the garage, and like a billion extensions/tips. Really great little thing for normal vacuuming purposes. The blower is powerful, too. You just switch the end the hose is connected to, remove the filter and bag, and it shoots a pretty powerful blast of air out.

Pictures will be uploaded in 30.............

The biggest positive in terms of dog hair is the blower this thing has. While it wasn't perfect, it did work very well at blowing static-y dog hair off the doors and upholstery.
