stalls make that shiz go up quick! lol... if you start foot braking.. and dont have a decent cooler.. WATCH OUT!! LOL.

Man I know that feeling.I think a lot of it depends on where they pick up the fluid temp on the trans. Anything under 240 is actually not hot enough to hurt the properties of the fluid but we all like them to run cooler than that. It just makes sense for longer life (or so it seems).Mine usually stays between 145 to 170 depending on how I'm driving and the time of year. Those GM tranny's run HOT compared to the Ford ones.
