I really don't know what you took a picture of but Auto zone sells an adapter that is plug and play for a trailer. It connects in between the driver side tail light at the connector that goes to the passenger tail light.

It normally comes as a 4 pin flat but you can rewire it to any configuration you want.

Walmart might even have it but check any auto parts store that has trailer wiring.

I wanna be able to plug the 8 pole into the 6 pole with a adapter without rewiring anything. The 6 pole is on a Viking 230 camper.

Not sure what that 8-pole on your vehicle would be used for. I just used a 6-pole square to 4-way flat adapter when I bought a Jayco pop-up camper, worked perfectly: Adapter 4 Way Flat to 6 Way Square for Jayco Hidden Hitch Wiring 30104, or another option to use a 6-pole round: Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter - 6-Pole Round to 6-Pole Square Hopkins Wiring HM47415

Thanks. The first link looks to be a winner but things changed. Someone started cutting into wiring so Im just rewire kit and do it from scratch. Its 8ft long by 6ft wide pop camper frame that I'm turning it into landscape trailer.

Just wire the trailer for the 4 flat, the connecter you have is basically a double 4 flat. It was made to accommodate both styles of 4 flat plugs.
