So I ended up with a second set of Perfect leather front power buckets and center flip down seat in tan lariat leather just like I have but just a little bit nicer than my current seats.

Plan is to do a direct swap for the current set and then sell them. Recently came across a set from an 05 in tan lariat leather but the front buckets are power and heated and have armrest and the console with wood grain top. The driver seat isn't in as good shape as mine but my passenger is slightly worse than his.

Idea would be to put my new seat in the truck and then trade the set that comes out for the heated set with armrest. The guy is in Hubbard tx about 3.5 hrs from me and willing to travel but not positive how far he'd come. I feel like my setup would be worth more than his and with him wanting my setup more it would cancel out him travelling farther. I was planning to get 400 for what I have now but think his set would be around 300-350 max.

Pics.

SO to make a long story short does this seem even:

him:
Driving most/all the way
heated power buckets w/arm rest
console with wood grain

me
power buckets
flipdown console
no tears or wear spots

o and my incentive to trade would be to try and make the perfect seats have the heat and the 08+ center console doesnt work with armrest seats so thats why id like to keep a set of no armrest seats. other than that i have no motivation to trade but since its a second set i can sell outright or trade

yea it would be instead of having 2 sets of the same seats and selling one, trade and try and remove the heat option from the traded seats and install on my perfect ones. that and the option to keep both sets and play around with the armrest/fixed non seat console.

i just think he still might need to come my way (not saying all the way) and put some cash on his end with the wear on the driver seat to make it worth my time rather than just selling them local to houston area

Yeah the travel thing is what would bother me if he is hot for your seats....I think you are on the right path

He's look a lot more worn out and cracked than yours do though :dunno:

They come in handy. Use the ones in the Tahoe since its been colder. Plus it's one more option the truck is wired for so it's like why not have it.

I've been thinking about some cheap seat covers for the winter since the leather gets cold in the am and to help it keep from cracking etc.
