One of your albums has a pic of your truck with a transmission shop in the background with an 818 area code so I'm guessin thats San Fernando/L.A. I guess comin down to San Diego is a little much. Still, if you want them they're yours.

If you already have the bolt holes why are you so dead set against bolting them on? I don't know how much welding experience you have but a high grade bolt will be stronger than most amateur welding jobs.

P.S. My 08 dodge was a 4x4 and didn't have tow hooks.

LEO and Che said welding is a lot better because the bolts have a chance of breaking

but welding is not a concern, can i bolt and weld? i dont see why not

Yup you can do both. Personally I would weld a bracket on with a shackle attached. The tow hooks pictured in this thread make me nervous about a strap or rope slipping off.
