Carlile tires? Yeah, I have lost a few of them. They never warranty the damn things

I have the 8 ply Carliles on my 10K trailer. I bought brand new ones when I drove up here, so far so good!

A guy 2 houses down has a sweet 92 4 Runner all original with red original paint that is faded but cleans up the inside is real nice and it has the 22RE which I like more than the V-6. I offered him $3500.00 for it about 6 months ago when he had For Sale sign on it with just phone number and no price.
He wanted 5K.
I walk my dog in the AM and the PM and saw it few days ago, he blew a front tire and you swear to Christ it was NASCAR blow out. The right front fender is blown to pieces, the inner wheel well is fucked up bad and the hood even got spanked!! He wants to sell to me now for the $3500.00....LOL!!! Not interested now.....he just replaced all 4 tires and Mexico being so close guess what it got....4 retreads from just across the border of Nogales. I had to ask him if he was sorry he saved $200.00 on tires.....ya I know that was mean but this 4 Runner used to be Cherry....with the IFS and 4x4 and some steel belts and tire wrapped around the front axle I there is some money to spent fixing this thing. Damn retreads!! I was very close to paying the 5K....the wife wanted it real bad.....key word...WANTED....not now...

That would be a good idea getting a tire with that many plys I know my brother does the same and on his and his HD truck. Im super glad all turned out fine and he didn't get hurt by crashing.

The tires I mentioned are matched to the trailer's GVWR, just like you would match to ply tires to a 2500 truck, Roland.

I spent like $210 for the new tire and a new valve stem. I will have check to see what its specs are. Its suppose to be a better tire!
