The 5 lug used to have a lot of options, but in recent years, GM dropped the 5 lug for the 6 lug pattern. Most of the wheel companies have started to carter to the 6 lug wheels and have forgotten about the 5's.

But can't you just run car wheels now? the vettes and f-body's have tons of wheel options???

yes, if the back spacing is correct. However; I have no money to buy rims and tires currently anyway. Now if someone wants to donate them, I am ready to talk!!!!

Vettes and F Bodies run a 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern. Trucks use 5 on 5. They don't interchange for obvious reasons..

That's what I was wondering. I heard a few guys running car wheels but they must have swapped out their six lugs with 5/4.75. Thanks for the info Jim!

Nope, good information here. The truck is not all back together just yet. There is still a lot of work to do to finish the paint job, but I have to have it done in a week and a half since I am going to philly for a long weekend to show my brother the truck.

When do your wheel moldings come in?
