I've just been on another site going through page after page after page of member's current car (mostly Subaru) pics.. When I came back over here and saw this, I thought it was someone poking fun..

I guess I was wrong..

I think I've posted these before, but I don't have any more recent pics..

Just after I had the new wheels put on (April '10) :

That last one makes me laugh, just about every time I see it..

Brats were certainly different.How capable were they when in the mud/snow? They had a seat in the bed too didn't they? with handles to hang on to & seat belts?

I know the Subaru dealership near us uses an old rotted out Brat to plow their parking lots.

That's pretty cool,guess they work good in the snow,and live a long a productive life

The Brat would go anywhere in 4 wheel low. It even had locking diffs. Turn a tight corner and it would scrub the inside tires.

Is a scanner on your christmas list?

I have a good scanner. It's in a closet due to non-use. Camera is easier when perfect results are not an issue.

Bought this, it was going to be our "family car" and we were so close to having it paid off. BUT, the infant child seat rendered the front passenger seat useless... so the car was going to be completely useless when our 2nd kid comes along. We traded this in to get the 07 Commander (now we can fit 3 car seats, two kids in the 3rd row seats, and two adults up front... let the baby making begin

I had a sweet lineup those days... my lifted 05 silverado, a 2000 XJ with budget boost, and the subaru.

The XJ was sold because we didn't "need" a 3rd vehicle but we kinda needed a new roof. Then the Silverado went for the Denali. Then the Subaru went for the Commander. Then the denali... well...

That's how it goes here. The way I see it is they keep making new ones... so I refuse to keep my old ones forever.
