I must say... I prefer wheels you can actually fukkin see if I'm gonna spend the coin to get some.

I do like the level / lift and your wheel choice isn't all black. They look good with a little silver. I just can't understand the crappy all flat black look. Looks like hell.

Michael said you were going to have a few opinions to say about the all black on tires and rims.

I couldn't resist asking you about it last night on facebook.

Buying a truck has opened up a whole new world to me. I love it!

So what is the difference between level and lift (other than the fact this one moves it up a bit). I want my truck to stay at the same height.

So tires- which brands do you guys recommend. I am going to stick with the chrome rims than but maybe look at other brands too.

A level kit just brings the nose of the truck up a bit to get rid of that cat in heat look. A full lift will lift the front and rear. From what you're saying you definitely just want to level it.

Tires....what are you looking to do with the truck? lots of off road? mostly highway, with a little off road, plan on getting into much snow in the winter? etc etc etc :)

Off road and highway. No to snow since I am not a snow kind of woman.

Cat in heat look  Definitely do not want that.

I’ll put my vote in for Chrome/polished/etc.

I agree with what has been said. I like the look of black wheels with either machined aluminum accents or polished it’s getting really played out. Maybe this is just because I live in the truck capital of the US, but seriously 9 out of 10 trucks around here have black wheels. Crap there is even a dealership that only sells lifted vehicles and every single one of them have some sort of black wheel. Ask Michael, this place looks like you took a bunch of the same trucks in different colors.

I just bought wheels a couple months ago and went with American Racing AR910s in the PVD finish. It’s actually a powder coat process that looks like chrome but doesn’t rust and cleans easily with soap and water.

This place is about 5 minutes from my house.

Oh and for tires I went with Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. They gave me the aggressive look I wanted without being an aggressive tire and have very little road noise. I know a lot of people like the BFG K2’s.

Karl 'splained the level. It is what I have done to all my GM trucks, 1/2 and 3/4 ton alike

As for tires, check out the Nitto line. Terra Grappler G2, and Ridge Grappler. I have the Terras now, and will likely get the RGs next. Toyo is another great one, and the 2 brands are from the same factory. I have the Toyo MTs on my Jeep.

Don't go through life jumping on 10 year old fads trying to look like one of the "cool crowd".

Find something YOU like the look of and enjoy life. I always buy what I like for my cars. I don't give a rat's ass what is "popular". **** that.

Life is short. Live it for you.

I won't be buying the tires and rims for awhile. The ones that are on my truck are fine for now. I need to go look at the tires/rims in person anyways. Too hard to tell how they look online.
