so i noticed an anoying problem with my truck, under light acceleration the truck surges ever so slightly and you can see the tac bounce maybe 10-20 rpm. it kinda feels like the throttle plate can`t find a happy spot and is open/closing quickly??? if it was actually missing it would throw a code. i assume its a programming issue with the electronic TB. anyone else heard of this issue?

i hope to get the truck in later this week or next for the TSB on the interior isulation, at which time i will bring up the issue.

i didn`t notice it so much before i swapped the muffler, but i can hear and feel it surging fo sho. :dunce:

I find this to be true on all drive by wire vehicles. My 2010 Accord does the same thing and my Sierra did before I got the BB tune. It's like there is a spot where the throttle just can't make up its mind what to do.

The 900 does have a few driving differences compared to my 800, it's almost like a touchy throttle at a few positions. I'll just have to get used to it.

Jim is yours better now after the BB tune?

I had just written it off to AFM not being able to decide if it wants all 8 or only 4 but alas I was wrong. :tmc:

I typically drive like a grandpa and I could really feel it at real light acceleration. I fixed it by matting the throttle every time I take off.

It's gone with the BB tune. Throttle response is like a totally different vehicle.

I agree, now you're seeing most of my negativity from when you were asking for recommendations. It's not a bad truck it's just different and I don't like change :skull:

I drive with a light foot too, I will hammer it don't get me wrong. But I normally drive very light footed for fuel mileage. The truck digs pretty good when you are aggressive with the throttle but the light pedal take offs is taking some getting used to. No complaints just different from my 800.
