That's crazy that these plugs are so bad, you would think that in a difficult time like this for manufacturers they would want to do right by their customers and at least foot the bill for their faulty design.

I am waiting for one of the Hemi owners on this site to chime in about changing plugs though. I don't know much about the new technology so it might have hit all the manufacturers now (hell it might even be on my truck, with 8,000 miles I gas & go don't dig in the engine yet) but the Hemi's have 2 plugs per cylinder with the COP crap, when I looked for my 08 plugs and wires for parts only was roughly 600.

As far as I've heard, no major issues, other than twice as many plugs

What's that COP?

fWONK it all. Having my cousin tow it to the dealership, he has a friend that will change them for 200.

Such a headache, first 3 came out great and it all went to hell after that. Next one broke and left the porcelain in, I don't have the right sockets for the lisle to work and every place is closed now.

Damn it! I think I will just take it to the stealer. Company truck.

Sorry to hear this man!

Reviving Trent's thread.

Mine finally gave up the ghost today. Backfiring, CEL, etc. They said it will need plugs.

It is at the dealer right now.
How many miles does it have?

It runs. No significant gains in anything, but the CEL is off.

I knew that there was a problem with this, but I had no idea how extensive it was. Damn!

There is a custom tool made just for pulling broken ford plugs.

Wow you got screwed. The COPs run like 60 bucks each from Rock Auto and takes literally 5 seconds to install. No reason you should have been charged 300 for that.

Ouchhhh. Parts are decent. Sad part is it probably took them 2 hours total to do it but they charged you what the book says. Ridiculous
