Like I said... that's a non-issue for me. If I get a minivan, its going to be a 3-4 year "loaner" lol

...I'm half tempted to get an even older/beat van for around the $6k range. Make it mechanically sound just so it lasts until one of my kids are out of daycare ($600/month for that one daycare payment), then start shopping around for a nice truck :D

With the way you go through wheels, everyone has "your old wheels".

But yeah, I say go for a few year old minivan (Sienna and Odyssey seem to the built the best in my experience) if you can convince Serena to drive it. How does she feel about a minivan, can't really picture her wanting one.

Good point about my wheels.... LMAO good thing im not like that with kids!

As far as Serena's concerned.... yeah she DEFINITELY does not want a minivan. BUT I gave her somewhat of an ultimatum because she knows how angry she makes me with the way she maintains vehicles.

When i went away for a week (work travel) and came back to the Liberty full of shit, I took everything out of it and put it on the floor in the family room and left it for her to clean. I don't drive in vehicles dirtier than a house i'd live in; so she's pretty much at my mercy with this decision

Another option im looking at is a suburban in the 110-120k mileage range for under $7k. If I can find one in good enough shape, it may be good "middle ground" and still have some trade-in value to help me get my truck back in a few years...

On the note of the Town & Country/Caravan having transmission issues.....uh, it's a Chrysler product....they always seem to have the most issues.

I can see myself in a mini van (probably have to be S/C or turbo'd :naughty:) before a Suburban. A mini van would be much easier getting the kids in and out and loading stuff being lower to the ground. Besides, why have kids beat up a nice SUV that will cost more?? Not only would you save on the vehicle, but you'd save on gas too (which for some may or may not be a big deal).

Just my $.02. :tmc:

I like that option best, but I like the GMT800s in general. I'd try to find the charcoal leather interior, should be the easiest one to keep clean.
