Buy the Dmax, then sell it to me for $11k. Easiest $1000 you'll ever make

This is a no brainer to me. New trucks are priced so high right now and if you have every watched or listened to a Dave Ramsey speak he will tell you BUY USED over new. You will be better off every time. Besides you might put 50k on this truck and if you take care of it it still might sell for $10k...

I could be wrong but I also think that GM will replace those injectors. They should be warrantied up to 200k miles.

How did the injectors go bad at only 109k miles? :dunno:
But if that is honestly the ONLY thing wrong with the truck then that is a very good price. A co-worker of mine bought an 02 D-max about a year or so ago and paid just under 13k for ir with over 200k miles. And he thought he was getting a damn good deal.

:withstupid: Doesn't sound like you're in a position to be buying a new truck. If it were me, I'd go for this truck.

Go used! I was at the GMC dealer yesterday taking the Acadia in for service, fucking electrical system is starting to have gremlins in it. The thing won't start every so often but the battery is good, the dash just shuts down 100% while driving and then comes back on. Plus the tire pressure monitor keeps coming up every few days showing no sensors reporting back but goes away after the next start.

Anyway back to the thread, I looked at all the new trucks on the lot and I couldn't find one for under $35k, call me a cheap ass but that is way to much money for a new truck. Going used is the best way to go, let the other person take the hit first on the vehicle value.

They were just bad. GM had a recall and warrantied them up to 200K
