Thinking about getting a daily driver

I would agree about the power for 4cyl. When we drove a Camry, the sales rep wouldn't let us look at the size of the engine, we drove it and then asked it if was 4cyl or V6. I said V6, but to my surprise it was a 4cyl, I was shocked.

Hmmm they must have wimpy v6's then... I have never once mistaken a NA 4cyl for a V6.

It's pretty hard for most gearheads to understand that the single most important criteria to the vast majority of buyers IS NOT acceleration. Our Accord is quite fun to drive with the 190 HP VTEC Honda four. The handling, braking and overall performance is very good... while getting 31MPG. :D

A Camry V6 does 0-60 in under 6 seconds and gets 30mpg...sounds like a win-win in my book (well if the rest of the car was a little more exciting)

No doubt the Honda and Toyota V6 models do get up and go.
