Altough the Monte Carlo has some nice looks, the Impala seems to be more cost-effective at all. BTW did you already decide which one would you buy? Have you also considered other cars?

This was mostly a starter page to look for a daily driver, just got my mind turning after I drove the Monte.

My wife bought a Camry as a college graduation gift in '04 and loved it. I've like the looks of the XV40 series ('06-'11) SE

Camry's are alright but they make them with cheap interiors more exceedingly these days and the overall power of their 4 cylinder engines are compared to Russel terriers pulling a sled. The v6 is a little more peppy but less fuel mileage of course.

 as long as its a V6. The 3.5 in those hauls ass and still gets pretty good mileage.

The impala sounds like a nice ride. The camry would be nice as well but the 4cyl not so much in power department.

I personally like the Ford Fiestas, and the Kia Optimas are bad ass and they have four doors. Sweet lookin interiors too my buddy has one. Even if you're spending more money on insurance, maintenance etc instead of gas look at it this way you're not sending as much money over seas. I know half the oil is produced in the Americas but still.
