You betcha
Ricer purists would hate me, but I would buy an STi sedan and take the wing off. Roll in stealth mode (and non-gay mode).

Lots of people here have swapped for a non wing deck lid. In fact the sales dood at Subaru has a sedan without the wing.

You find out pretty quick that most vehicles are simply average commuters once you start going out and driving them. Unless you want to spend 40 plus grand, the pickings are few.

We started out looking at performance... but we have broadened our scope to include most anything that catches our eye and has decent resale value. Lack of utility in real day to day life and cheap interior components have narrowed the choices even more.

The somewhat good ones under 40 grand so far are:

Mustang GT (2 door coupe means not much use other than a car)
Subaru WRX STi (powerful - wagon styling makes it useful - rides like a covered wagon)
Camaro V8 (if you can handle not being able to see out)
Nissan Pathfinder (good power - great utility - lots of equipment - not sporty)
Nissan Murano (drives great but stylistically challenged)
Subaru Outback (great wagon utility - larger than the WRX)

Smart man. Upsell that after sales stuff! Seriously though, that wing is hideous.
