What about a Golf R?

I have no faith in VW to build something that will hold together. Doing what I do for a living, I see a ton of the 1.8T and 2.0T powered VWs and Audis that are dead long before their time.

Sad thing is that I've always liked VW-Audi offerings and have actually owned 2 GTIs. I just don't trust them now.

Good info to know I guess. You don't see to many VW's around like you do the other manufactures, at least not here.

Their 2.5L engine appears to be rock solid, but it's no performer. VW needs to make a comeback.

I have driven the G37, and Kia optima turbo and I love them both. If I ever got another car it would be either one of those.

I like the C class. I would not buy the G37. I hate the styling. I loved the original G35.

I like the Optima and Genesis. I'm just not ready to write a big check at Kia or Hyundai just yet. Maybe in a few years.
