Yes Ford thinks they have to have pilot holes behind all their damn badges! It is so stupid! That is why I never debadged mine. The Ford emblem on the tailgate, well, if you want to remove it, you have to fill in not only the two holes behind it, but the indent around it too. I opted out for that!

PTM bumpers!!!! You should get that done first! That would look awesome! There are not too many trucks around like yours, that color!

Yeah it does kinda suck not being able to remove the emblems at your leasure. Thanks!, It will be the most costly of the few items I have planned, and it will be weird driving without bumpers for a week or so, but I definitely want it done. I got a quote of $300 to sandblast, etch prime, paint, clear them, and later after its fully cured, get the front bumper 3m'd so its chip resist. I may have a few more paint errors up front corrected. Theres very modest chips in the front bumper pad, and minor ones in the hood I would like to do away with.

There was one guy on f150online who PM'd me pics of his 2005's Lariat bumper PTM ( same color as my truck ) looked slick. Its almost as if I was replicating Pmason718 on there, except FX2s come stock all PTM, like FX4s ( except handles ).
