Well for the first time since I owned it the F150 Failed state inspection. I called down to the shop and the mechanic told me he was working on "the list".

I picked it up and got "the list". Drivers side upper ball joint, left side outer ball joint, right side inner ball joint and... Duh... duh... duh... Broken Exhaust Manifold studs.

I already ordered my parts. I am doing the uppers on both sides and all four Tie Rods. If one goes the others are not far behind. I am replacing everything with Moog parts.

When Things go bad I replace with better parts if I can. So the cast iron manifolds have to go and I am replacing them with Shorty Headers. I will do a write up on the manifold replacement when I do them this weekend. More to come.

Sorry I know you're probably not that excited about having to spend the money but on the bright side she'll be good to go for many miles.

I'd stick with the stock manifold. It'll flow just as well as the shorties, last forever and won't leak.
