I like it except for the enormous blow molded plastic flares and ugly painted factory wheels.

If there were an award for worst fender flares ever created...

You should slap some sense into him.

He wanted to do it to convert the Trans Sport into 4WD, had already bought a transmission of a 1st-gen Kia Sportage and the rear-end of a Chevy Nova to adapt, but cancelled this project.

Now he's just replacing the stock 60-degree V6 with a 4-banger Iron Duke
Had already replaced the stock automatic transmission when it blew, now it's fitted with a Getrag 5-speed out of an Opel Astra (the same as the Saturn Astra imported in a limited amount before Saturn's phaseout).

Porsche Carrera GT is a bad ass, too bad it never had an automatic transmission (or a PDK AMT) not even as an option. A good reason to stick with the Corvette.
