It essentially will be exactly like an LTZ half ton. Just like my old truck. Chrome rear bumper, grille, and steps.

I have never seen "your old truck" :jester: so I cannot make any accurate judgments or opinions. :D

I guess I'm the only one against it!

I just think it will be too much white (just like PTM-ing the mirrors would be).

And why can't you do a '11 bumper swap?

Different frames mean different mounting points and no backwards compatibility. Could it be done, sure. Could it be done easily, no.

The grille and hook insert will stay the same, it will look just like the half ton LTZ, so it won't be too much.

The parts list is extensive on the '11 bumper, and apparently the brackets involved are different. The grille is also different.

Look at 66nova's truck, it will be like that.

OK....that doesn't look all that bad.

And that sucks about the swap. :(

Good! Them HDs are blinding coming down the road in the sun with all of that chrome! Gonna look good, but why skip out on the rear as well? It confuses me why GM would do that, like the new '11 Z71s with appearance pkg, its all PTM, except the rear bumpers.... :wtf?:

All the LTZs have been that way. IMO, I like it. I don't care for what I think is "too much" color.

With the rear bumper, the grille, and my step bars, I think it will look good.

Thanks Darin, good to see you man!
