I have towed anything and everything with one of every GM V8 model made in the last 30 years

Seriously though, my 07 with 5.3/3.73 got 8 towing a 6000 pound TT. Worse in the mountains and horrible over 62 MPH

No sir, I have the 3.73s. I'd never tow anything bigger than my quad with the 4L60 and 3.42s

Could have probably squeezed 9.5 if I didn't floor it to see how fast I could climb the two big hills

If weight was really that big of a factor, I'd lose/gain more than 1 MPG pulling Super B... A difference of 96,000lbs between empty and loaded. The fuel bulkers get a consistant 3 - 5 MPG better than the hopper bottoms I pulled, with the same weight.
