In my mind, RV means motorhome. We call those travel trailers.
That's a nice one.
RVers refer to both as a RV.
Especially since a recreational vehicle is a motor home or trailer set up for living quarters.
But I have always had a TT RV growing up and worked for Coachmen back in the day!

The word vehicle to me implies the ability to move itself though, not something that requires another VEHICLE to tow it.

Wind resistance plays a bigger factor than weight.

Yep....
I think I was 1100lbs over my GCVW, not the dry weight of the trailer... So 8800, not 8500
Either way, it pulled it like a champ. No sway, the only thing that really let you know it was there, was the really big hills....

8,800 is still 8,800. My pontoon might go 3,500 including the trailer.
What did you get pulling the pontoon? 10-12?
