How has a very inefficient truck forced the others to create more efficient trucks?
Actually the 5.6 was more responsible for some HP wars than anything. Mine was extremely strong running...

The 5.6 gets about what GMs 6.0 gets for fuel economy though.

Do you just browse nissian forums for the heck of it? :dunno:

My brother had one in 2006-2007 I was on there a lot then to build arguments with my bro... I was mad that he got it when he asked me for his opinion of it when I test drove it and I told him not to get it. That opinion was primarily based on the fact that it was the 04 Endurance model of which at the time was the only one that he could afford... He would have kept it longer I think if he had gotten a newer one and not the first year model.

I went on there to try and help someone find a over head handle that broke on the passenger side of their truck a couple weeks ago..

The last part of the paragraph pretty much states that they suck on fuel... But they have encouraged other auto makers to make more power per liter resulting more efficient trucks...

More power per liter has zero to do with efficiency. :dunno:

True Dat... What I should have said that while producing more hp they have also found ways to make trucks more efficient in the fuel department. I mean a lot of this has to do with the old 4L60es being a 4 speed tranny and now replaced with 6 speed transmissions in todays trucks..
