i accept you for who you are. a devoted CHRYSLER supporter. i like that about you.

Fixed.

Chrysler makes nice products now...and I want more of them than any other mfr. Outside of a few models, GM make nothing that's particularly exciting. They are very good vehicles, but not all that exciting.

TBH, it started with the 2009 Ram. While all the other makers for 2009 came out with bland/boring trucks that really did nothing unique, Dodge came out with a truck that looked fantastic, had a fantastic interior, had a unique rear suspension (when compared to the competition), and the Ram powertrain was a proven combination.

If I had to replace my truck today, this would be what I look at first:

1. Jeep Grand Cherokee
2. Dodge Durango
3. Dodge Journey
4. Dodge Ram
5. GM Trucks
6. GM SUVs

And then if I sold the boat, and didn't need to tow anymore, it would look like this:

1. Jeep Grand Cherokee
2. Dodge Durango
3. Dodge Charger
4. Chrysler 300
5. Dodge Journey
6. Dodge Ram
7. GM Trucks
8. GM SUVs.

I always give credit where credit is due...and the transformation Chrysler has gone through is truly staggering. From vehicles that even rental companies wouldn't consider to vehicles that are indisputably best in class.

The 09 Ram is what flipped it for me too. I waited almost 2 years to see how many reliability complaints started popping up, and there were almost none. After driving one and comparing it to the GM/Ford models, it was a no-brainer for me.

I have almost 18k miles on mine now without one single issue, and it makes me smile every time I look at it and turning the key is always a treat. I have run through lots of trucks (all brands) in the last 15+ years, and I haven't had ONE that I liked even close to as much as this Ram.

The only choice in your lists I might not agree with is the Journey. I know it had some issues after it came out, but they may have been addressed by now.
