Tomorrow I take it out on the road and see what happens under full load and boost. Hopefully nothing falls apart. Also need to figure out the tensioner. Does anyone make a low profile drive belt tensioner for my kind of truck? I need the pulley in the same spot, just the mounting part where the spring is inside I need skinnier because my supercharger belt is rubbing right through the plastic. Im thinking of taking the tensioner off and taking off the plastic and maybe shaving down anything that looks like its in the way. But other than that I think I'm done!

you need to replace the tensioner with a dayco unit, it has a much lower profile, read this thread here... > http://www.whippleforum.com/whipple-tech/102-454-belt-touch-issues-arghhh-help.html see post number 6

i don`t know if i mentioned it in my build thread, if not thats my :fail: I will need to update it, let me know the part number and i will post it up. :)

Know where I can get the right dayco one? Did a little searching around google but didn't really come up with anything. Of course Napa and Oreillys in my area only have exact matching OEM stuff.

I don`t know in your area, I would imagine Bumper to Bumper does, they carry Dayco here locally.... any close to you?

Well I picked up a Dayco from Autozone and it was much lower profile but Arghh the black spring retainer thingy sticking up rubbed against the idler pulley above it. So after an hour of filing and grinding down, it fits. Started the truck back up, took it out for a spin, and since it was wet out I could get no traction anywhere. Supercharger sure sounds good though! Getting an alignment tomorrow and having a shop welding in a bung for the O2 sensor for my wideband gauge and then I should be ready to take the rig back to school! Assuming nothing else goes wrong. :D
