Get 'em, Got 'em, Good
Hey guys aint been around for awhile, college keeps me well busy. Hope everyone is doing good! I'm having a problem with a system I installed. I can put up pictures tomorrow if anyone thinks it will help. I put together a 760w Pioneer Amp (GM-5100T) and a Kenwood 12 (KFC-W3012) in an Atrend box. All a little bit older equipment (besides the box) and bought all new wires. Got everything hooked up and mounted my amp on the back wall behind the seat. Everything sounded great then drove home from school this weekend and it just stopped. Ive double checked every single wire and replaced all speaker wire involved and still no luck. The Amp lights up and everything and all seems well, at low (and I mean low) I can get a little response from the sub, but if I turn it up nothing but a clicking/popping sound and it seems to be rhythmic. Ive been doing some research but I can't find anything conclusive to the problem. If anyone has any ideas as to what it might be, amp too small for the rms of the sub, or anyways to troubleshoot if either are blown, etc. Thanks a bunch
