It kinda reminds me of a Mitisubishi Eclipse...

How? The eclipse was a car that was always big, heavy, and handled like a big heavy car. The only thing "sporty" about it was the fact that it was a coupe. The BRZ is small and light, and actually designed to be a real sports car.

I'm on my phone right now so I can't pull up the picture, but there's a comparison of the BRZ with the mustang, genesis coupe, and one other car, and it is significantly smaller than any of them.

I think it's an interesting concept and I'll certainly be looking when they hit the lots. As Dan pointed out, it'll be a very fun car to drive and they come standard with a lot of equipment (as stated in the MotorTrend article) for an estimated base price of $24,000 starting.

I don't care how either of them drives or what they weigh. The overall look reminds of a fWONking Eclipse. (Especially that shot down the side and the way the rear fenders are shaped.) That's how.

Here's what I was talking about earlier.

It's significantly smaller than the Mustang or Gen Coupe, and a bit bigger than the Miata. This isn't the kind of car that will sell well as a family type car, but it should be a big hit in the enthusiast market. I know my Dad is extremely interested in one once his Civic finally bites the dust.

Well, for the purposes of what *I* was talking about, how it DRIVES has not-a-single-thing to do with how it LOOKS, which is what my comment was based on.

Until they're on the streets and I can see one in person, there's no way for me to gauge whether or not it's "my type" of vehicle. My guess is that you're probably right. I probably wouldn't FIT in it very well (or if I did, I'd never get back OUT of it )..

I can appreciate what they were going for. I just think they should've done a little more bodywork on 'em to differentiate their appearances more.. I do like the fact that they didn't "rice 'em up" too much, though.
